NRT Films

NRT Films is an animation and film production company which seeks to make profitable independent films that appeal to niche and wide audiences. NRT Films is the production branch of 4HG Entertainment, a northwest Louisiana company involved in the finance of live action and animation films.  4HG Entertainment's genres include animation, drama, faith/family entertainment and thrillers.

Anybody Love

Published book written by Steve Stephens.  Screenplay written by Bill Dumas

Live Action Feature Film

In 1945 on a small farm in Louisiana, Emma Bobbi ("Anybody") Love, a 14-year old black girl, becomes pregnant after being raped by a local white boy.  The story, based on try events, is told through the eyes of Billy Austin, a white 13-year old whose grand parents own the farm where Anybody's sharecropper grandparents lived.  Billy's grandmother, Miss Molly, rallies the family to seek justice in this crime that the rest of the town insists on ignoring. The townspeople's unrelenting resistance of Miss Molly's crusade pushes her family unity to its limits and threatens to deepen the schism between black and white in this deeply segregated community.

The Formula

Based on the published book "God In Our Schools" written by Steve Stephens.  Screenplay written by Lyn Morgan and Steve Stephens.

Live Action Feature Film

The second story in the integration trilogy by author Steve Stephens, The Formula tells the story of the first black student in the Louisiana white school system, using a formula based on faith, The Formula, set in 1967, weaves a story of doom, then eventual hope, in the South's struggles with racism and integration.

Status:  35mm black and white test footage shot, starring Caitlin Wachs and Herb Tripp.  Director:  Kevin Altieri.  In finance negotiations.

The Crossover Teacher

Screenplay by Steve and Pat Stephens, and Bill Dumas

Live Action Feature Film

Set in the early 1970s,   The Crossover Teacher, the third tale of Steve Stephens integration trilogy, tells the story the integration of black school teachers in white schools, and white school teachers in black schools.

The Greatest Escape

Feature Animation

The Holy Family must escape Bethlehem as King Herod orders the massacre of all male children under the age of two after Herod is told by The Three Wise Men that they are following a bright star that is to lead them to the birth of the Messiah, the real King of the Jews.  Obsessed with destroying the new King, Herod makes plans to kill all males under two years of age, thereby thoroughly destroying this threat to his royal monarchy.

Status:  In production,  Co-production partnership with S. Korea's Sun Min Co.  Director:  Kevin Altieri.  Projected release date:  December 2008.
