Steve
Stephens is an accomplished storyteller, telling creative Biblical
tales and first hand stories about the integration of the South.
Mr. Stephens has written three books to date. Mr. Stephens' first
published book, Anybody Love (University Edition), is
the story about integration strife in Louisiana in the 1940s.
His second novel, God In Our Schools (AmericaHouse),
is the story of the first black student to enroll in the all-white
Louisiana school system in the 1960s, using a “Formula” of what
Christ would do given this situation. Mr. Stephens' recently published
book The Greatest Escape – It Could Have Happened This Way
(Axiom Press), is the fictional tale of King Herod's attempt
to eradicate the coming of The True Messiah.
Mr. Stephens serves
as the Chief Creative Officer of the Shreveport, Louisiana based
film studio 4HG Entertainment (4HG). The studio is currently in
production with its first project, a traditional animation film
based on The Greatest Escape (expected release date
Easter, 2010). Additionally, 4HG has optioned the screenplays
based on Mr. Stephens' Anybody Love and God In Our
Schools (using the screenplay title The Formula) )
and will pursue production of these stories as traditional, live
action movies.
